All classes are from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm unless noted.

Please note: A short multiple choice, true/false exam will be given at the conclusion of each class. Spotter cards with your new number will be mailed to you with a passing grade of 70% or higher.

Registration Information:  

 Registration is Mandatory for all SKYWARN Classes.

Register for a class online

If you can not register online, you can register via telephone by calling 631-924-0037 x412.

Please leave your name, a contact number and email address (if available) and the specific class that you are registering for.            

Please note that we will not call you back unless necessary.

For a class to be held, there should be at least 10 registered people.

ADVANCED: You must be a current spotter (trained in the last 3 years).
