Test Isuances: The National
Weather Service will issue TEST Warnings on:
Tuesday, April 24 @ 11:15 am - A TEST Severe Thunderstorm
Warning will be issued as a Special Weather Statement for mass dissemination
and as a Required Weekly Test (RWT) for the Emergency Alert System (EAS)
and for NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio.
Thursday, April 26 @ 1:15 pm - A TEST Tornado Warning
will be issued as a Special Weather Statement for mass dissemination
and as a Required Monthly Test (RMT) for the Emergency Alert System
(EAS) and for NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio.
Response to Test Issuances:
Participants should respond to these TEST warnings by
accessing the following web page below with the appropriate Password
that was provided, which are hosted by the New York State Emergency Management
Office:

The Nation will celebrate its fourth annual National Lightning
Safety Awareness Week, June 24-30, 2007. NWS staff thank
all of the people who are helping to make this year's lightning
safety campaign a reality. Lightning Safety Week is held the last full
week of June each year.
