 Test Isuances: The National Weather Service will issue TEST Warnings on:

Tuesday, April 24 @ 11:15 am - A TEST Severe Thunderstorm Warning will be issued as a Special Weather Statement for mass dissemination and as a Required Weekly Test (RWT) for the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and for NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio.

Thursday, April 26 @ 1:15 pm - A TEST Tornado Warning will be issued as a Special Weather Statement for mass dissemination and as a Required Monthly Test (RMT) for the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and for NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio.

 National Lightning Safety Awareness Week : June 24-30, 2007

The Nation will celebrate its fourth annual National Lightning Safety Awareness Week, June 24-30, 2007. NWS staff thank all of the people who are helping to make this year's lightning safety campaign a reality. Lightning Safety Week is held the last full week of June each year.
